It’s that time of year again!
This year’s event promises to be another fantastic evening. When you walk through the doors at the First Parish Church Fellowship Hall, you will feel as if you have been transported back in time to your own high school prom. You’ll enjoy gourmet dining and dancing to the renowned energetic party band, First Class featuring Concetta! The evening will have a few surprises along the way, and then we’ll draw the lucky winner of The Big Event Raffle. This year’s fabulous prize is something everyone needs:
$5000 cash!
Raffle Tickets are $50 and are on sale now at Toy Shop of Westford , various events at the schools and from board members (only 500 will be sold).

The BIG Wine Event 2009
This year we are doing a special wine program again, but it will be a little different than last year. It’s a great way for you to make the evening a little more special and raise more money for WEF. See the order form for more details.
The BIG Event Raffle 2009
Rules and Regulations
In accordance with Massachusetts Attorney General Regulation 940 CMR 12.00, WEF discloses the following information:
- Prize description:
- First Prize $5000 cash
- Prize will be available for inspection the evening of March 28th, 2009 at the Prom for Grown-Ups Dinner Dance, First Parish Church, Westford, MA.
- Minimum number of tickets to be sold is 100. In the event the minimum is not met, all monies will be refunded to ticket purchasers.
- Maximum number of tickets to be sold is 500.
- The value of the prizes will be treated as ordinary income to the winners for federal and state income tax purposes. The Internal Revenue Service takes the position that no portion of the ticket price will qualify as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.
- The drawing date for the raffle is March 28, 2009.
- Estimated percentage of net proceeds from ticket sales to be used for charitable purposes is 90%.
- Net proceeds from The BIG Event Raffle help to fund innovative education and professional development grants for all Westford Public Schools as well as Nashoba Valley Technical High School.
