Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2 – 6, 2011. Want to thank a special teacher or staff member for an outstanding job? The Westford Education Foundation can help. Please consider sending a WEF card to your favorite teacher, counselor, teacher’s aide, school nurse, office staff member, or principal. It’s a perfect way to say thank you, and support innovation in Westford schools at the same time! Money generated from these cards will be used to fund grants for the Westford Public School system.

Just make a tax-deductible donation (minimum of $10 per card) to Westford Education Foundation and we will send your honoree a professionally printed WEF card with a personalized note. The card will state your name, but will not disclose the amount of your gift. Ask about getting the card directly if you or your child would prefer to deliver it yourself!

The Westford Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that promotes excellence in education. We fund grants to teachers, staff and the community for innovative educational initiatives, professional development and life-long learning ventures. Put On Your Dancing Shoes for a Good Cause

Westford Education Foundation cordially invites you to the sixth-annual Big Event, the Black & White Hollywood Ball. The occasion, a gourmet reception and dance to raise money for innovative education programs, will take place Saturday, April 9, 2011 6:30 – 11:30 pm.

For the first time, the Big Event will be held at Saints Vartanantz Church,
180 Old Westford Road, Chelmsford (a short two miles from Westford Center).

Back by popular demand, First Class Band featuring Concetta will provide live entertainment. Tickets for the Black & White Hollywood Ball are $100 each, and are limited. Reserved tables are available for parties of 8 or 10. Please purchase your tickets early.
 
Westford Education Foundation is holding the Big Event Raffle in conjunction with the Big Event, offering a grand prize is $2,000 cash, and a second-place prize of $500 cash. Raffle tickets are $25 each, and winners need not be present at the Black & White Hollywood Ball.

Proceeds from the sixth-annual Big Event Ball and Raffle will be used to fund education programs for the Westford Public Schools and Nashoba Valley Technical High School. WEF has awarded over $115,000 in grants to the Westford community since its inception in 2003. Please help us further our mission of providing excellence in education by joining us on April 9th!
