If you can’t find just the right card or gift to show your appreciation for the wonderful job your child’s teacher or a special staff member has done, then the Westford Education Foundation has the answer.

Send a WEF Holiday Card to your favorite teacher, counselor, teacher’s aide, school nurse, office staff or principal. It’s a perfect way to say thank you, and support innovation in Westford schools at the same time! This is also a great idea for class gifts.

Just make a tax-deductible donation (minimum of $10) to Westford Education Foundation and we will send your honoree a professionally printed WEF holiday card with a personalized note. The card will state your name, but does not disclose the amount of your gift. (Ask about getting the card directly if you or your child would prefer to deliver it yourself!)

The Westford Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that promotes excellence in education. We fund grants to teachers, staff and the community for innovative educational initiatives, professional development and life-long learning ventures.

The 2009 Fall grant cycle has begun!

We will be accepting both innovative and professional development grants. The applications will be due 10/12/09 and will be awarded 10/30/09.

The annual Walk for Education will take place Sunday October 4. Registration will be on the town common starting at 12:00pm. The walk will begin at 1:00pm.

It’s that time of year. The leaves are budding, the tulips have popped up, and the WEF spring grant cycle has begun!

Grant applications are due May 22, and will be awarded June 12. To apply, download the application, fill it out and send it by email or postal mail. It’s easy and fun.
